For someone who grew up thinking cardio is how you get skinny and if you lift heavy weights you’ll get hulk like muscles - my world was completely flipped when I started going to Resilient 5-6 days a week. I am in the best shape of my life all due to the incredible coaches and workout regiment they instill at Resilient. It is the perfect combination of heavy lifting & cardio. The coaches and other members truly become your biggest cheerleaders and you start lifting weights and hitting personal goals that never in a million years I thought I would ever even be a part of. Riley and Isaac, the owners, are the masterminds behind it all. Words cannot express how impressive these two are and the community they have built with Resilient! You would think they had opened 3 other gyms before! I could not recommend Resilient enough. I’ve been to a lot of gyms in my life and this has to be hands down my favorite gym! Their classes are structured perfectly! Fast paced when you need it to be and slow when you really need to focus on proper form and technique. The workout have variety but also allow you to build on certain muscles to increase your performance. They have the recipe down to a science! The instructors are fabulous, the gym is clean, spacious, and has excellent equipment.
I am so happy to have found a gym home like this. Anyone can come into Resilient and feel comfortable - whether you are just starting out or have been working out for years. The team of Doctors and coaches are highly knowledgeable and fantastic to work with - they pay close attention to form and technique so you know you are learning to do things the right way. What I love most is that all of the coaches have a great instinct for knowing when to push you and when to have you scale back, which has helped me improve without getting injured or burned out. In almost 2 years of working out here, I have gained strength, confidence and honestly accomplished goals I didn't think were possible. Resilient is such a positive gym community with encouraging and hard working members - I truly look forward to coming here every day!
Love, love, love this place! I cannot say enough good things about this gym/clinic/community. Resilient Gym has group classes, personal training, 24/7 access, showers, chiropractic care, nutritional support, youth sports performance training, and big garage doors that open when the weather is nice. I remember when it was mostly just James and me at the night classes. Since the new ownership, new name, and fresh look—this place is buzzin’! What really sets it apart is the focus on both rehabilitation and performance. I have tried CrossFit before, and I did not enjoy rushing through the skill work and then crushing my body with 150 wall balls. Here, every workout has a purpose. Show up, work hard, and see the results. I had wrist surgery, and the team did an awesome job modifying workouts so I could still train safely while recovering. No matter your injury or fitness level, the Resilient team has you covered. This will definitely be one of the highlights of your day.

Resilient Gym is easily the best fitness investment I’ve made. After a year of conditioning and strength training, I feel better in my mid-50s than I have in years. The atmosphere is welcoming and non-intimidating, but the workouts are no joke. Huge shoutout to Elliott in the mornings—he provides incredible individual attention even in a group class. Highly recommend for anyone in Naperville looking for real results and a great community.

Yes, absolutely! Our programming is designed with that in mind. Each day has a specific focus and training stimulus (strength, conditioning, etc.), so you’re not repeating the same stress on your body in back-to-back days. Instead, the week is structured to complement itself, allowing you to train consistently while still recovering and progressing.
Whether you come 3 days per week or 6, the program works for you. If you want to be here every day, you can do so confidently knowing the training is intentionally designed to support it.
No... experience is not required. Our classes are led by expert coaches and designed to be scalable for all fitness levels. If you’re experienced, you’ll be challenged in new ways and pushed beyond what you thought possible. If you’re newer to training, we’ll teach you the “why” behind everything and coach you step-by-step so you can build confidence and progress safely.
No, we’re not a CrossFit or HYROX affiliate. Our programming is built on traditional strength & conditioning principles, designed to help you get stronger, move better, improve your cardiovascular fitness, and accomplish hard things every now and then. That said, we do utilize various aspects of "specific"-style training methods. Depending on the day and the goal of the workout, you may see elements that resemble CrossFit or HYROX-style training, especially in our conditioning sessions. However, everything we do is intentional, structured, and tailored to meet you where you are, while aligning with the overarching goals of our current strength & conditioning program.
Most gyms give you access to equipment or random workouts. We give you a system. Our training is built on real strength & conditioning principles, progressive, structured, and intentional, so you’re not just working out, you’re actually improving various aspects of "fitness."
Every class has a purpose, every phase builds on the last, and everything is designed to help you get stronger, move better, and perform at a higher level. What truly sets us apart is that we’re doctor-led and performance-driven. On one hand, we bridge the gap between rehab and training.
